I love love love this book. So sad but so lovely. The characters seem so lost in their lives until they finally find each other after a heart wrenching near miss.  But it was meant to be.  I don't know why but the grandness of the ending made me think of that silly movie with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas where he shows up outside her house on the street in that huge boat.  LOL 'Ice...' has no boat ... but Shane Helnsley's gesture of acceptance and his heart's surrender is so much more grand!!! Thank you Ms. Angers for writing this book.
